Effiny Saxophone Duo at SUNY JCC for One-Day Residency
Two internationally-acclaimed virtuoso classical saxophonists will be in residency on March 21 at the SUNY Jamestown Community College Jamestown Campus.
Two presentations and a woodwind masterclass will be followed by a live performance at 12:20 p.m. in room 138 of the Sheldon Center. All of the events are free and open to the public.

SUNY JCC Celebrating Nursing Program Alumni for National Nurses Week
In recognition of National Nurses Week in May, SUNY Jamestown Community College is celebrating alumni of the college’s Nursing program. Magnetic buttons are available for the first 1,000 alumni who contact the JCC Foundation between March 1 and April 15.
Open House Events Planned for March at SUNY JCC Campuses
Open House events at SUNY Jamestown Community College are set for 10 a.m. - noon on Saturday, March 9 on the Jamestown Campus, and 10 a.m. - noon on Saturday, March 16 on the Cattaraugus County Campus.
Prospective students will be able to explore academic programs and speak with faculty; learn about student support services, sports, clubs and events; take a tour of the campus; and receive help with the application process.

SUNY JCC Hosting College Fair for Students at Cattaraugus County Campus
SUNY Jamestown Community College is hosting a college transfer fair from noon-1:30 p.m. March 4 in the Cattaraugus County Campus Student Union.
Representatives from more than 15 colleges and universities are expected to attend to discuss transfer program requirements, scholarship opportunities, and application deadlines with JCC students.

SUNY JCC’s Prison Education Program Sees Success, Growth
The spring semester at SUNY Jamestown Community College is underway on the college’s physical campuses, and at Collins Correctional Facility.
Now in its third semester, the program has seen growth in the number of incarcerated individuals participating, courses being offered, and instructors ready to provide them.
SUNY JCC Announces Fall 2023 Dean's List for Part-Time Students
The following students from SUNY Jamestown Community College were placed on the part-time Dean’s List for academic excellence during the fall 2023 semester. To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must achieve a minimum GPA of 3.50 or better in 6-11 degree hours.

SUNY JCC Announces Dean’s List for Fall 2023 Full-Time Students
The following students from SUNY Jamestown Community College were placed on the Dean’s List for academic excellence during the fall 2023 semester. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a student must achieve a minimum GPA of 3.50 during the semester while enrolled in at least 12 degree credits.
