JCC scholarships

You can apply for most of our scholarships with the single JCC Scholarship Application each year.

Featured JCC scholarships

  • If you're a Chautauqua County resident enrolled in Nursing or OTA, get funds through the John A. and Oscar Johnson Memorial Scholarship.
  • If you're a New York State resident living on campus, get $1,000 per year with the Live Where You Learn Scholarship.
  • If you're majoring in Addictions Counseling, get a full scholarship with the OASAS Addiction Professionals Scholarship.
  • If you're a New York State resident aged 25-55, get a full scholarship in select degrees with SUNY Reconnect.
  • If you're graduating in the top 20% of your high school class, get NYS tuition covered with the USA Scholarship.
  • If you're a qualifying veteran, spouse, or dependent, get funds through the Veterans' Scholarship in Memory of Traci Maybach.

Some of our featured JCC scholarships have different application steps.

In-state tuition savings

If you're a New York State resident:

  • Pay the in-state cost by submitting a NYS certificate of residence.
  • File your TAP application as part of JCC's financial aid process.

Out-of-state tuition savings

If you're not a New York State resident:

  • And you commute from Erie, McKean, or Warren County, PA, pay the in-state cost with the Good Neighbors PA Scholarship.
  • And you're a qualifying veteran, spouse, or dependent, pay the in-state cost by providing military details.
  • And you live on campus, pay the in-state cost with the Residence Halls Out-of-State Tuition Grant.

Credit for prior learning

Earn credit for your life and work experiences such as licensure, military service, and professional portfolio.

Credit while you're in high school

Earn college credit through JCC while in high school:

  • College Connections offers JCC courses in our partner high schools.
  • The EARN grant covers half the cost of in-state tuition for up to two courses or half the cost of out-of-state tuition for one course each semester.
