Summer EARN Grant

EARN grant for summer

Get ahead on your college and career goals this summer with Jamestown Community College! The Educational Advancement for Regional Neighbors (EARN) program allows high school students to take courses at JCC at a significantly reduced rate.

  • The first 100 high school students who apply and enroll in a course during one of our two summer sessions will have a grant applied to cover 100% of the tuition cost for the first class they enroll in. Tuition for additional summer courses will have a grant applied to cover 50% of the tuition cost, up to a maximum of $700.
  • Students who apply after the first 100 EARN grants have been awarded may still apply and receive a grant to cover 50% of the tuition cost, up to a maximum of $700.

All students are responsible for course fees (non-refundable after classes start) and any textbooks or supplies.

The Summer 2026 EARN application will open March 2.

Eligibility
  • Open to current high school students ages 15 and older by the start of the term.
  • Must either live or attend high school in Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, or Allegany county.

  • Grants are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to those who complete the application and all the required documentation by the application deadline.
