NCEC Spring Involvement Fair

JCC students, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend the spring semester involvement fair.

Student clubs and organizations will be recruiting new members. If you have a special interest and a club doesn't exist for it, all it takes is five students and a faculty or staff advisor to start a new club.

Sponsored by the campus life program.

New Directions Youth & Family Presentation

Representatives of New Directions Youth & Family, a regional agency serving children with high risk behavioral needs, will discuss their programs, careers at the agency, employment, and challenges and needs of the youth served.

Students majoring in criminal justice, human services and addictions counseling, social sciences, education, and political science are encouraged to attend the presentation.

New Directions will be represented by personnel from residential, community-based, school, and social work services, employment, and human resources.

Wear Purple Day Group Photo

Purple is the color associated with domestic violence awareness. Share photos online of yourself wearing purple, and tag @NYSOPDV and use the hashtags #PurpleThursday and #NYGoesPurple4DV.

National Wear Purple Day

Show that the JCC community is aware of domestic violence issues by taking a stand! Wear purple and join a group photo!

Wear Purple Day, commemorated nationally, was created in hopes that all individuals wear purple and talk about why. A group photo will be taken at 12:50 p.m. in the Student Union on the Jamestown Campus and on the front steps of the North County Center's Main Building.
