Show that the JCC community is aware of domestic violence issues by taking a stand! Wear purple and join a group photo!
Wear Purple Day, commemorated nationally, was created in hopes that all individuals wear purple and talk about why. A group photo will be taken at 12:50 p.m. in the Student Union on the Jamestown Campus and on the front steps of the North County Center's Main Building.
Use your clothing to start conversations with others about domestic violence. Share photos online of yourself wearing purple, tag @NYSOPDV, and use the hashtags #PurpleThursday and #NYGoesPurple4DV.
