OLEAN, N.Y. — SUNY Jamestown Community College Cattaraugus County Campus is providing free eclipse viewing glasses to members of the community and a solar system display with a scavenger hunt in the week leading up to the total solar eclipse on April 8. The scavenger hunt winner will be chosen at random and receive a gift basket.
Area small businesses and entrepreneurs are invited to join SUNY JCC Workforce Development for this networking event in Cattaraugus County. Share your strengths, areas for growth, and professional development resources that are of interest. JCC is excited to help entrepreneurs and has exciting projects in progress to assist with their goals.

Kirk Young, Ph.D., vice president of Student Affairs, and Jessica Kubiak, Ph.D., interim vice president of Academic Affairs, recently announced the students who were awarded degrees or certificates after completing the fall 2023 semester at SUNY Jamestown Community College.
One student earned a 4.0 grade point average, which is deemed highest honors. Thirty-eight students earned 3.5-3.99 GPA, or high honors; and 25 students earned honors at 3.25-3.49 GPA.
