AED & Naloxone Cabinet Locations

AED & naloxone resources on campus

Jamestown Community College has automated external defibrillator (AED) cabinets on each campus. Through a partnership with Southern Tier Health Care System, naloxone (brand name: Narcan) is also available in the AED cabinets. Any AED cabinet containing naloxone will have a "Narcan Nasal Spray Here" sticker.

  • AEDs are emergency medical devices used to restore heart rhythm via electrical shock when a person experiences sudden cardiac arrest.
  • Naloxone is an emergency nasal spray used to stop and reverse an overdose from opioids and restore normal breathing.
