Dunkirk City School District students participate in events through Liberty Partnerships at JCC and the local community.

College and career activities:

• College 101 presentations to learn about the college application process
• College Connections workshops to introduce new programs
• Global International Education Day at JCC to learn about different cultures
• Job shadow arrangements for students to explore different careers
• Support with FAFSA, job applications, resumes, scholarship applications, and practice interviews
• Tutoring support to assist students

Development activities:

• Advocacy Day trip to meet with local congressmen in Albany, NY
• Book clubs that focuses on cultural and social issues
• Brave Jamestown Event, girls’ empowerment day
• Family Engagement Night to bring families together
• Interactive workshops to promote social and emotional health
