Hosted by the Suicide Prevention Alliance of Chautauqua County this walk supports the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s education and support programs and its bold goal to reduce the annual U.S. rate of suicide by 20 percent by the year 2025. After walking around campus and participating in various activities, 80 students can enjoy the view of Jamestown Community College from the air. Tethered Hot Air Balloon Rides will allow 4 students to ride at a time. Enjoy music by local musician Ade Adu.

Calling all student poets!
Submit 1-2 of your original works of poetry - any genre, to be shared with a selection committee of faculty, staff, and students.
The top 10-15 poems will be performed live on the Jamestown Campus! Each poem will be evaluated and at the conclusion of the event, and 3 students will win gift cards (1st winner-$100, 2nd winner-$30, 3rd winner-$20).
Poem Submission Deadline: Noon on Friday, April 2.
