Jazz and Friends National Day of School and Community Readings

After a national anti-LGBTQ hate group bullied a young transgender girl in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, her community rallied behind her by hosting a community reading of "I Am Jazz" by transgender advocate Jazz Jennings. Across the country, we come together today for this reading to affirm, support, and create positive outcomes for transgender and non-binary youth.

Performance Art with Tom Varano

Marsha P. Johnson was an activist, self-identified drag queen, performer, and survivor. She was a prominent figure in the Stonewall uprising of 1969.

He was one step closer to fulfilling his dream when a construction accident left him paralyzed from the waist down. His life and dreams were shattered, but not defeated. During those darkened days, he had a decision to make: he could stay down and quit, or get back up and succeed.

He chose the latter.
