Build your professional wardrobe for free

The J. Hawk Career Closet at Jamestown Community College is for all currently enrolled JCC students to build your professional wardrobe for free:

  • You can get six items of professional clothing each semester.
  • By the time you leave JCC, you’ll have up to 24 items to start your professional wardrobe!
  • Items do not need to be returned - they are yours to keep.

Career Services oversees the closet, and all other aspects are student-run, from inventory to design to customer service. Peer assistants are trained to provide excellent advice for putting together a professional wardrobe.

JCC's Career Closet on the Jamestown Campus is a large room with clean professional clothing arranged on hangers, wall mounts, and tables, similar to a department store. Several mannequins wear sample outfits, and at the front of the room is a private changing room and front desk for assistance.

How to access the J. Hawk Career Closet

Walk-ins are welcome, based on peer assistant availability each semester. You can also make an appointment by emailing CareerServices@sunyjcc.edu. If you have a virtual appointment, items can be shipped to you.
