Pre-college Enrollment Program

Experience college while you are still in high school

The Pre-college Enrollment Program (PEP) grant at Jamestown Community College is open to all high school students, including homeschooled students. You can enroll in up to 11 credit hours at either the Jamestown or Cattaraugus County Campus locations, the North County Center in Dunkirk, or online.

As a PEP student, you can participate in both academic and extracurricular activities at the college. You'll have full library privileges, can attend special college events, and are welcome to join clubs and interest groups.

  • You must be 15 years or older.
  • You are enrolled in at least one class at your high school or currently homeschooled.

Applications must be received by the following deadlines:

  • Fall Semester: August 1
  • Spring Semester: January 5
  • Summer Session I: May 1
  • Summer Session II: June 15
  • Enrollment in a course is on a space-available basis.
  • Students are responsible for all fees (non-refundable), the remaining tuition after the grant is applied, and any textbooks/supplies.

  • Students are required to have a parent or guardian sign off on their application. The form provides an option for you to send a link to their email for them to e-sign.
    • If your parent does not have an email address to sign this form electronically, you can select the Options drop-down in the upper left side and Read agreement to download a PDF that you can print, fill, and sign.
