An original story created by the JCC Uncommoners ensemble, based on "Decadal," a work of art by David Schuckel that was featured in the fall 2023 "Reiterations in Glass" exhibition in the Weeks Gallery.
Visit the Campus Store and chat with Nick Smith, author and Communications instructor at SUNY JCC. In addition to his newest book, "Cloudwalking," Smith has published works such as "Cat City," "American Spirit," "The Secret Life of Teddy Bears," and "Milk Treading;" which was featured on NPR's "All Things Considered," translated into Italian, and adapted into an Edinburgh Fringe Festival play.
Smith will hold a drawing to give away a copy of his book "American Spirit," during the event.

The 2024 JCC Foundation Awards Gala presented by Assured Partners honors recipients of the John D. Hamilton Award, Distinguished Alumni Award, and Nurse of Distinction Award, as well as student scholarship winners. The gala begins at 5:30 p.m. with hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. Dinner is served at 6:30 p.m. followed by the awards presentation.

The Jamestown Campus hosts "Waterways Lake Chautauqua," a solo exhibition of works by Fredonia-based artist Timothy Frerichs, from Oct. 31 to Dec. 12 at Weeks Gallery. The gallery is open Monday-Thursday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Friday 10 a.m.-3 p.m. It is closed on college holidays.
