In 2017, 29 violent deaths of transgender individuals have been reported, the most ever recorded.
Student volunteers are sought to help move lumber from the Weeks Gallery.
Working with Habitat for Humanity board members, students will load approximately 100 2 x 4 boards onto trucks. The lumber was used in Patrick Robideau's Hidden Room exhibition in the gallery and will be repurposed for Habitat for Humanity projects.
Habitat for Humanity works in a number of different ways to create decent, affordable housing.
