Jazz music and refreshments will make your gallery experience livelier!

Works by artists Linda Georgian, Cathy Higgins, and Michael Smith are featured in the show, which is on display through May 24.

Displaying works in fiber arts, ceramics, and wood, The Art of the Craft brings to life the beauty in everyday items. The reception includes a talk given by the artists. Live music is provided by the LTM Trio.

Annual Hot Dog Run

Walkers and runners are invited to participate in the annual 5k event sponsored by JCC's intramurals program.

Hot dogs and refreshments are served after the race. Prizes presented to top finishers in each category.

Brandon “Griot B” Brown has been an educator for over 10 years. As a teacher in South Los Angeles and Inglewood, CA, he used hip-hop in his classroom to increase students’ achievement. As an assistant principal in Richmond, CA, Brown boasted the lowest suspension rate - three - in his district. He understands the value of education and the necessity of making school a fun place to learn.

Coffeehouse and Walking Tour

Grab coffee and snacks to go and follow community activist Della Moore on a short African American history walking tour.

Moore is director of the African American Center for Cultural Development, a non-profit organization.

If weather permits, Moore will guide participants on a walking tour through a small section of Olean’s African-American history. Her presentation focuses on the Underground Railroad and the places and people that have played a role in Olean's history.
