Raise awareness about the incidence and impact of suicide, connect with mental health resources, and inspire action for suicide prevention.
Students can participate in canvas painting, tie-dying (bring your own apparel to be decorated), self-care journals, and sign and hope flag decorating to raise awareness about the incidence and impact of suicide.
Mental health resources will be outlined for those in need of suicide prevention services.
Co-sponsored by JCC's campus life program and the Community Alliance for Suicide Prevention.
The program allows students, faculty, and staff to honor those who lost their lives during the terror attacks in 2001.
In honor of International Overdose Awareness Day, the campus life program hosts a resource fair providing a variety of information.
The event also incorporates the Clothesline Project and Where is Home Project.
