Meet the artists, see their work, and enjoy hors d’oeuvres and light refreshments. On display through March 28, the exhibition features works by JCC’s Art faculty and staff including illustrations by Kate Barry, digital/new media collaborative by Emily Drew and Aaron Perez, ceramics by Elliott Hong, paintings by Nathan Jeffery and Kelsey Renko, photography by Mark Kirsch, and sculpture by Madison LaVallee.

The SUNY Jamestown Community College Board of Trustees will hold committee meetings on Tuesday, January 14 in the boardrooms of the Jamestown and Cattaraugus County campuses, and North County Center. Committee schedule is as follows:

• 3 p.m. Finance and Audit Committee
• 4 p.m. North County Ad Hoc Revitalization Committee

Enjoy 45 minutes of relaxation while Western New York vocalist, songwriter, and musician Saranaide takes you on a sound journey using a variety of instruments and her own voice to promote deep relaxation. Learn how sound can be part of your self-care routines. Though not required, consider bringing a light blanket and/or eye mask, and your own yoga mat if you prefer that to a gym mat.

Attention Student Poets: share your sweet verses for a chance to win gift cards! Selected works will be shared for evaluation and after the event, three winners will be selected to receive gift cards. Spoken word prizes are: 1st - $100, 2nd - $30, 3rd - $20.

Meet the JCC Athletics teams and join the green, gold, or black team to compete for the Jayhawks Pride Trophy! The first 200 students will take home a Hawk's Nest t-shirt, and all who register at the event are entered to win a $50 Walmart gift card.
