OLEAN, N.Y. – Retirees seeking guidance on managing their finances, planning for health care costs, and ensuring a financially secure future are invited to attend the upcoming Rejuvenate Your Retirement educational course at SUNY Jamestown Community College.
The program will be held at the Cattaraugus County Camous Manufacturing Technology Institute,129 Hamilton St., Olean. The two-session course is available on Tuesdays, April 29 and May 6, or Wednesdays, April 30 and May 7 from 1 to 3 p.m.
The SUNY Jamestown Community College Board of Trustess will meet in the boardrooms of the Jamestown and Cattaraugus County campuses, and North County Center.

OLEAN, N.Y. — Paul Jewett pulled out two manilla folders that had been securely tucked away in a dresser drawer in his room at the Eden Heights assisted living community.
He hadn’t rummaged through the contents of those folders much over the years. But they’ve been in the back of his mind, and they mean a lot to him.
One contains his college transcript, in perfect condition, protected by a plastic covering. The other is filled with original papers he wrote on typewriter while taking classes at SUNY Jamestown Community College in the 1980s.
Please help the Red Cross reach its collection goal by joining this lifesaving effort to help ensure there is enough blood available to provide for every patient with a medical need.
OLEAN, N.Y. — The new Hatch Cafe on the SUNY Jamestown Community College Cattaraugus County Campus opened to the public on Monday with a flurry of activity and a line out the door at one point.
Visitors to the cafe located in the College Center along North Union Street were greeted with green, gold, and white balloons at the entrance, homey decor and furniture inside, and the familiar flavorful coffees, desserts, soups, and charcuteries of the former La Dolce Vita that once operated down the street in downtown Olean.
