OLEAN, N.Y. — Children and families are invited to enjoy an afternoon of crafts, activities, and a movie on Saturday, Oct. 17 at SUNY Jamestown Community College’s Cattaraugus County Campus.
Activities begin at 1 p.m. at Cutco Theater, 305 N. Barry St. in Olean. A showing of the movie “Hotel Transylvania" is scheduled for 2 p.m.

The event will also feature the Learning Together Family Literacy Group, which will offer story time for children and teens and financial literacy activities for parents from 1 to 2 p.m.
The afternoon is designed to give families an opportunity to enjoy a free movie while participating in activities that encourage creativity, reading, and learning together.
“Hotel Transylvania” follows Dracula and his daughter, Mavis, as they navigate an unexpected visitor at their monster-filled hotel. The animated film is rated PG.
The event is co-sponsored by JCC and the City of Olean Youth Bureau and Recreation Department.
