SUNY Jamestown Community College is partnering with BetterMynd, an online therapy provider that partners exclusively with colleges and universities across the United States to offer students access to free, high-quality counseling services.

Crystal Rose-Williams, interim vice president of Student Experience, and Dr. Jessica Kubiak, vice president of Academic Affairs, announced that 30 students were awarded degrees or certificates from the SUNY Jamestown Community College Jamestown and Cattaraugus County campuses in Summer 2025. Four students earned highest honors (4.0 GPA), thirteen earned high honors (3.50-3.99 GPA), and one earned honors (3.25-3.49 GPA).

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — SUNY Jamestown Community College welcomed rising 10th grade students from Jamestown High School for a three-week Summer Bridge Program designed to prepare students for academic success in high school and beyond.

DUNKIRK, N.Y. — Seven students graduated from SUNY Jamestown Community College’s 12-week Industrial Maintenance Technician program at the Dunkirk North County Center on Aug. 29. 

The seven represent the 10th graduating class of the IMT program, which is run by JCC’s Workforce Development team.

Crystal Rose-Williams, interim vice president of Student Experience, and Jessica Kubiak, vice president of Academic Affairs, announced the SUNY Jamestown Community College graduates who were awarded degrees or certificates from the Jamestown and Cattaraugus County campuses in May 2025. 

A total of 350 students earned degrees and certificates. Highest honors represents a 4.0 grade point average, high honors a 3.5 to 3.99 GPA, and honors a 3.25 to 3.49 GPA.

SUNY Jamestown Community College recently honored 65 high school students from throughout southwestern New York as the 2024-2025 students of the year in the College Connections program.  

In selecting the students of the year, schools were asked to consider College Connections participants who had embraced the challenges of completing college level work and demonstrated resourcefulness, integrity, and dedication.
