Last Day of Juried Student Art & Design Exhibition

The professionally juried exhibition features works from students at all JCC locations, including paintings & 2D, drawings, ceramics, sculptures, digital and new media, and photography.

Located on the second floor of the Jamestown Campus Sheldon Center, Weeks Gallery is free to visit and open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Fridays.

Juried Student Art & Design Exhibition Opening Reception & Awards Ceremony

The annual, professionally juried exhibition, features works from all JCC locations. Any student who has taken an art class at JCC has a unique opportunity to have their work professionally juried, installed, and exhibited in the Weeks Gallery.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the artists, view their work, and enjoy light refreshments.

Selected students will receive awards for excellence in painting & 2D, drawing, ceramics, sculpture, digital and new media, and photography as well as the President's Award for Artistic Excellence.

JCC's Got Talent

JCC students, staff, and faculty share their talents with the rest of the world for a chance to win big prize money. The audience votes for winners by purchasing voting tickets.

The event includes refreshments for purchase and a 50/50 raffle. Proceeds benefit JCC's Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship.

Acts must pre-register online by April 11. Cost to register is $15.

Jazz Fest 2025 Featuring Dave Golando Quintet

See a live concert featuring the Dave Golando Quintet with Dave Golando on saxophone, Mark Filsinger on trumpet, Joe Baudo on piano, Marc Cousins on bass, and Carl Alanakien on drums. All members of the group are experienced and accomplished professionals and some of the best and most recognized jazz musicians in Western New York.

The concert will also feature the Chautauqua County Student All-Stars, a group of talented student musicians.

Scandinavian Culture Days

Culture Days focus on Swedish culture and the Swedish-American experience, though one does not need to be of Swedish origin to attend. Gatherings include workshops, presentations, and Swedish-inspired food, lingonberry juice, and coffee. 

The presentation/workshop schedule is as follows: 

March 1: Cooking Easter buns, knitting, wood carving, painting, and Scandinavian ancestry research  

April 5: Swedish immigration and lunch for students at noon
