Juried Student Art & Design Exhibition Opening Reception & Awards Ceremony

The juried exhibition features works from all JCC locations and includes painting, drawing and prints, photography, sculpture, ceramics, and digital media. Any student who has taken an art class at JCC has a unique opportunity to have their work professionally juried, installed, and exhibited in the Weeks Gallery.

Jurors include Art faculty Madison LaVallee, Nathan Jeffery, Mark Kirsch, Brenna Turner, and Tom Makovitch. 

Spring Concert 2026

The JCC Music Department is proud to present the 2026 Spring Concert! This exciting program features the JCC Concert Choir and Concert Band performing a variety of selections in different styles. The Concert Band will also perform with special guest saxophonist Andy Wen in the New York premiere of JCC Music Chair Neil Flory’s “Concerto No. 2 for Alto Saxophone and Concert Band”. 

The Concert Choir is directed by Julie Costantini and the Concert Band is under the direction of Chris Wakefield. The concert is open to the public with no charge for admission. 

Spring Jam! 2026

The JCC Music Department is proud to present the 2026 Spring Jam! This energetic and exciting concert is open to the public and features JCC Rock Ensembles, directed by Bill Eckstrom, performing a variety of selections in a range of styles. The concert will also be streamed via Zoom.

Jazz Fest 2026

Jazz Fest 2026 features acclaimed ensemble Jazz Crossing, which plays an eclectic mix of jazz standards, grooves and blues. The group consists of John Cross (saxophones, flute, and clarinet), Jay Hagen (trumpet), Doug Shutte (trombone), Tyler Nelson (vibraphone), Jim Madden (piano), Marc Cousins (bass), and Craig Ridgway (drums). 

Additionally, the Chautauqua County Student All-Stars, a unique group of local high school and college musicians, will perform numbers by Kenny Dorham, Doug Beach, and others.

Join Phi Theta Kappa, Student Senate, and Campus Life for JCC’s Got Talent, where our incredible students take the stage to sing, dance, perform, and surprise us all. You’ll laugh, you’ll cheer, you might even witness the next campus legend.

Poetry and Photography Contest

A college-wide contest is in the works!

A selection committee will review submissions and invite 10–15 poets to share their work at this live poetry event, where submitted photos will also be displayed as part of a photography contest. 

Student winners will be selected and awarded gift cards:

Spoken word

  • 1st place – $100
  • 2nd place – $50
  • 3rd place – $25

Written poetry

  • 1st place – $100

Photography categories and prizes TBD.
