Steps for international internships

Completing an internship in another country is an exciting experience. To prepare for your trip abroad, you will work with both Career Services and Global Learning.

  1. Meet with your academic advisor to discuss how an international internship fits into your academic plans. Review credits and internship responsibilities.
  2. Fill out the Career Services interest form to let us know that you are interested in an international internship.
  3. Career Services will follow up with you to talk about opportunities and schedule an initial interview with the faculty mentor and site supervisor, as needed. Check your JCC email regularly!
  4. Since this internship will take you abroad, you will work with Global Learning to finish preparing for your trip. Complete this Study Abroad form to start this portion of the process.
