Tell your story at the JCC Student Showcase

The JCC Student Showcase is an opportunity for students to share your stories, academic achievements, and successes with your Jamestown Community College community. The JCC Student Showcase takes place each spring.

The JCC Student Showcase will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026, with poster presentations in the Jamestown Campus Student Union noon-2 p.m. and Zoom presentations 2:30-4:30 p.m.

Important dates:

  • Submit your application by Wednesday, April 8.
  • Projects are due by Monday, April 20.
  • Main Showcase event is Friday, May 1.

About your presentation

Your presentation can focus on:

  • Personal narrative: Creative story, poem, etc., about your time at JCC. You might focus on something you did while at JCC or what you learned about yourself by attending JCC.
  • Artistic accomplishment: Artistic creation, compilation of photography/videography/artistic work, etc.
  • Academic accomplishment: Classroom-based research project, independent study project, capstone project, Honors project, etc.
  • Applied learning accomplishment: Internship or international internship, study abroad course, project-based learning within a classroom, etc.

More ideas on sharing your work:

  • This is a great opportunity to present Honors program coursework!
  • You can present individually or in a group. Only one application form should be submitted for each group presentation. Include the name of every contributor and presenter is listed.
  • You can submit work that has been presented at other venues.
  • You can submit work that is in progress. A presentation is a perfect opportunity to outline your project goals, evaluate where your project is at, and what you hope will come of it.
