Mechanical Technology - Machine Tool (A.A.S.)

Study mechanical and machine tool technology at JCC

This degree program is for students desiring employment in the field of mechanical or industrial engineering technology. Graduates may qualify for positions such as machine, tool, and product designer; industrial laboratory technician; inspector; production control technician; sales, field, or safety technician; CAD operator; and other related positions. Graduates also have the option of transferring to four-year institutions offering the bachelor's degree in mechanical technology.

Students can choose from either the machine tool concentration or the design concentration and must complete all concentration requirements to earn the degree.
