Cybersecurity (A.S.)

Study cybersecurity at JCC

Cybersecurity has become a major concern for organizations and individuals who utilize computers. With the Cybersecurity degree from Jamestown Community College, you can transfer to a four-year institution and major in cybersecurity or computer science. Career opportunities include corporations or law enforcement agencies investigating cyber crimes, conducting risk and vulnerability assessments, and implementing cybersecurity policies and procedures.

In JCC’s program, you’ll study tools, policies, and procedures for computers, computer networks, and system vulnerabilities, as well as methods for addressing cyber threats. You’ll also be prepared to complete industry certification in computer hardware and system software, networking, and security.
