Jenna Caskey of Sinclairville, a sophomore outside hitter for the Jamestown Community College women's volleyball team, has been named by the National Junior College Athletic Association to its All-Western New York Athletic Conference all-conference team.
Caskey was named player of the year for both the conference and the NJCAA’s Region III. Also named to the all-conference team were Maddy Russo and Karleigh Haines of Jamestown and Cameryn Hawkins of Ripley.
Haines, a freshman outside hitter, was named to the all-region first team while Hawkins, a sophomore libero, was selected for the all-region third team.
Ashley Lund was named coach of the year for both the conference and region.
The Jayhawks compiled a 28-5 record overall and won the NJCAA Region III championship tournament in October. The team competes in the Region III national championships in Rochester, MN on November 14.
