OLEAN, N.Y. — SUNY Jamestown Community College is hosting financial aid events on April 22 and April 29 at its Cattaraugus County County Campus to help current and prospective college students complete the updated Free Application for Federal Student Aid form.
The events are scheduled for 3-7 p.m. in room 108 of the Library & Liberal Arts Center on the downtown Olean campus.
Shannon Rinow, JCC’s FAFSA Completion project coordinator, members of JCC’s FAFSA completion team, and Amanda Hulbert, a JCC success navigator, will be available to assist students and answer questions.
Students will need a verified federal student aid ID created at least three days prior to completing the FAFSA application. The FSA ID can be created on the Department of Education’s website at studentaid.gov/fsa-id. Parents and guardians will also need a verified FSA ID for dependent students.
Also required of students is a parent or spouse contributor name, date of birth, Social Security number, and email address. Income and asset information may also be needed.
