More Than a Diagnosis: Student Voices on Mental Health

Wednesday, February 18, 2026 | 12:30 pm - 1:15 pm

Join the Psychology department and Campus Life for a moderated panel discussion featuring students who live with mental health challenges. This conversation centers on what it’s like to navigate college, relationships, and daily life while managing a mental health condition.

Panelists will share personal perspectives, challenges, and insights in their own words. This is not a debate or a clinical lecture, but an opportunity to listen, learn, and better understand the real experiences behind the diagnoses often discussed in class.

The discussion will be moderated by Frank Corapi, professor of Psychology, to ensure a thoughtful, respectful, and supportive environment. Refreshments will be available before and after the panel.

What to expect

• Personal stories from JCC students
• A respectful, moderated conversation
• Time for questions, shared thoughtfully through the moderator
