A JCC alum, Bohall provides clinical and forensic consultation for various organizations and systems throughout North America; is an adjunct instructor at Pepperdine University, SUNY Buffalo, and Antioch University; and the principal author in the co-authored textbook, The Psychologists Guide to Professional Development (2017).

Dr. Bohall is recognized as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor-III (CADC-III). Academically, his work can be found in textbook publications titled The SAGE Encyclopedia of Psychology and Gender (2017), The Complexity of Psychopathy (2022), Best Practices in Sexual Offender Assessment and Management (Expected 2023), Dynamics of Intimate Partner Violence (Expected 2023), The Clinical Complexity of Predatory Violence (Expected 2024), and Suicidality and Self-Injury (Expected 2024). Bohall also serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Aggression, Maltreatment, & Trauma, the Journal of Family Trauma, Child Custody, & Child Development, the Journal of Child Sexual Abuse and the Journal of Child & Adolescent Trauma. His academic and research interests include forensic assessment and intervention, crisis intervention and negotiation techniques, the evaluation of interviewing, investigation, and interrogation procedures, addictive behavior, sexual offender assessment and intervention, psychopathy, predatory and affective violence, intimate partner violence, offender profiles and victimology, and sport performance optimization.
