David Boyd

Athletic Trainer

I am the head athletic trainer here at Jamestown Community College. I provide healthcare to all of the student-athletes as well as coordinate concussion testing, physicals, and routinely communicate with our team physician. I am also an adjunct faculty in the Health and Physical Wellness department. I teach essentials of human movement, and plan on teaching more classes in the future.

My favorite part of my job is building connections with the students, student-athletes, and everyone on campus. I enjoy getting to know everyone on a personal level, even though I am absolutely terrible with names.

You can always achieve more than you think you can. Take every opportunity that is available to you and learn something from it. Give everyone their due respect, because one simple act of kindness can change the course of someone’s life.
