Professor
I began teaching at Jamestown Community College in 2002 and became a full-time assistant professor of psychology in 2006. I am the director of the psychology department and the social science division at JCC. In terms of professional development, I am the coordinator of the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) at JCC. Prior to joining the faculty of JCC, I was an instructor in psychology at Edinboro University in Pennsylvania for four years. I have also worked as a clinical program director with a variety of behavioral health treatment programs for Stairways Behavioral Health in Erie, PA (1989-2002). Furthermore, I was in private practice for ten years, specializing in couples therapy. I have an M.S. in counseling psychology from Gannon University and a great deal (90 credits) of post-master's work.
