In the most difficult or sublime of moments, it can be hard to communicate our deepest emotions. Often these experiences, rooted in or worn by the body, need catharsis. These artists use text in the form of lists, poetry, prose, and protest in an attempt to heal, connect, and…find the words.

The NYS Department of Corrections is looking for talented recruits to support its mission: "to improve public safety by providing a continuity of appropriate treatment services in safe and secure facilities where the needs of the incarcerated population are addressed, and where individuals under its custody are successfully prepared for release and parolees under community supervision receive supportive services that facilitate the successful completion of their sentence."

Celebrate your accomplishments with snacks, games, and entertainment at the End of the Year Carnival. The fun includes a dunk tank, inflatable obstacle course, caricature artists, car smashing, lots of food, snow cones, and candy apples.

Join us in celebration of the earth and its wondrous gifts, creatures and resources! 

Weather permitting, Earthfest 2024 will be held along the central campus walkways near the pond and in the Student Union. The event will feature educational and informational displays and exhibits from local environmental organizations, student groups, eco-friendly businesses, and public agencies. The Earth Awareness Club will also hold a tree seedling adoption and chance auction.

This year's speak-out creates a safe space for survivors of all forms of sexual violence to “speak out” about their experience, recovery, and healing.

Selected works will be shared for evaluation and after the event, three winners will be selected to receive gift cards:
