The NYS Department of Corrections is looking for talented recruits to support its mission: "to improve public safety by providing a continuity of appropriate treatment services in safe and secure facilities where the needs of the incarcerated population are addressed, and where individuals under its custody are successfully prepared for release and parolees under community supervision receive supportive services that facilitate the successful completion of their sentence."

Celebrate your accomplishments with snacks, games, and entertainment at the End of the Year Carnival. The fun includes a dunk tank, inflatable obstacle course, caricature artists, car smashing, lots of food, snow cones, and candy apples.

Come compete in the Annual JCC Hot Dog Run! The 2-mile course will take you through and around campus, finishing back at PHED. Lunch will be provided for all participants. Pre-Register by May 3 to get a free T-shirt.

Help bring mental health conditions like depression and anxiety out of the darkness and help to prevent suicide. Students are a force for change —  help put a stop to this loss of life.

Weather permitting, Earthfest 2024 will be held along the central campus walkways near the pond and in the Student Union. The event will feature educational and informational displays and exhibits from local environmental organizations, student groups, eco-friendly businesses, and public agencies. The Earth Awareness Club will also hold a tree seedling adoption and chance auction.

This year's speak-out creates a safe space for survivors of all forms of sexual violence to “speak out” about their experience, recovery, and healing.

Participate in Tie-Dye for Hope, Painting for Prevention, Hope Flag creation and journaling while meeting numerous community organizations during our April Wellness Wednesday. Bring your team to create your matching tie-dye t-shirts for May's Suicide Prevention Campus Walk. A limited number of JCC t-shirts will be provided for tie-dying.

Calling all pop-culture fanatics! Go wild in a trivia game that covers music, movies, and TV. Scoring the most points gets you free money! It’s as simple as that! The audience will buzz in when they know the song, movie theme, TV theme, or movie quote that was played. Everyone plays! There are multiple winners throughout the game and four different rounds to the game, so there are many chances to win!

Selected works will be shared for evaluation and after the event, three winners will be selected to receive gift cards:
