Artist's Closing Talk: Hashtags Exhibit

Hear Kaycee Colburn, JCC artist in residence through Creatives Rebuild New York, discuss "Hashtags," an exhibition mean to spark a conversation about Native American issues that have received little media coverage today and historically.

The exhibition is free and open to the public from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays through May 24 at the Center Gallery, located on the second floor of the College Center at 260 N. Union St.

Poem-in-my-Pocket Day Poetry Reading

Dr. Neil Flory and Professor Justin March will be recognizing Poem-in-my-Pocket Day by reading from their works of poetry. Dr. Flory recently published "mudtrombones knotted in the spill." Join us in celebrating the art of poetry with two of JCC's very own!

Student Music Recital 2023

The JCC Music Department is proud to present the 2023 Student Recital. This eclectic program is open to the public and will feature the department's best student soloists, performing selections from Bach to Broadway and beyond.

This exciting program is open to the public and will feature the JCC Concert Choir and Concert Band performing a variety of selections in different styles. The Concert Choir is directed by Julie Costantini and the Concert Band is under the direction of Chris Wakefield. JCC welcomes artist, hip-hop/jazz musician, storyteller, poet, and entrepreneur A.I. The Anomaly (Aitina Fareed-Cooke) for a three-day residency. A.I. is dedicated to the utilization of music, lyricism, photography, and cinematography as her “weapons of mass creativity” to capture thought-provoking stories.
