The Studio Arts degree with a concentration in graphic design at Jamestown Community College prepares you for transfer to a four-year institution to pursue careers in fields such as graphic design, animation, industrial design, and creative direction.
The JCC program includes courses in graphic design, typography, layout, video and sound, animation, drawing, and photography. You'll focus on building technical and software skills, and then you'll use what you've learned to develop a professional portfolio. Throughout the program, you'll get hands-on experience in JCC’s art and design labs, have access to on-campus resources like the Weeks Gallery, and be able to complete a graphic design internship.

After you complete the program, you will be able to:
