About the spaces
In each location, the entire floor at each campus is dedicated to nursing studies, complete with:
- Large lecture halls
- State-of-the-art simulated clinical labs
- Faculty and staff offices
- Conference space
- Student lounge
- Restrooms
The standout feature of the nursing department is the lab area. It is in the labs where nursing faculty teach students clinical skills. The labs model a hospital floor with patient rooms and medical equipment that students will learn to use prior to beginning their clinical experience at local healthcare facilities. A medication area presents opportunities for students to become familiar with administering current medications.
Nursing faculty present educational lectures in large lecture rooms equipped with technology for improved learning. Upon completion of your Nursing degree, you will be prepared to take the Next Generation NCLEX (NGN) (National Council Licensure Examination) to become a registered nurse.
