Earn your certificate while at the Sheriff’s Academy
As a part of the rigorous Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Academy program at Jamestown Community College, you can earn college credits at through Credit for Prior Learning (CPL).
Studying law enforcement opens opportunities such as police officers, detectives, dispatchers, federal agents, crime scene investigators, and forensic scientists. You’ll work on the front lines, focusing on law application and due process, as well as the role of evidence, defense tactics, and emergency medical technology.
The certificate in Law Enforcement prepares you to enter the workforce and apply for a position in a police agency or other law enforcement role.
