The SUNY Jamestown Community College Foundation has announced the appointment of two new members to its board of directors: Geoffrey O. Dodd of Tampa, Florida, and Vernon Robinson Jr. of Olean.
Dodd, a 2016 JCC graduate, serves as vice president of commercial real estate for JP Morgan Chase. He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a post-baccalaureate certificate in real estate investments from the University of California, Los Angeles. In 2023, Dodd established a transfer scholarship to support JCC students continuing their education.
Robinson, a 2003 JCC graduate, is a warehouse operations supervisor for National Grid and serves as a councilman for the city of Olean, where he was elected council president in 2025. A United States Marine Corps veteran, Robinson was recognized as a JCC Distinguished Alumnus in 2024 and published his autobiography in 2014.
The JCC Foundation, a private, nonprofit organization established in 1983, manages contributions made on behalf of Jamestown Community College. Foundation funds support scholarships, faculty development, cultural events, instructional resources, and special programs that enhance opportunities for students, faculty, and the community.
