Twelve individuals celebrated the completion of the Successful Supervision program on JCC's Jamestown Campus recently.
The 70-hour program, created to meet the specific management needs of area employers, consists of comprehensive, interactive supervisory training. Participants receive training in leadership skill building, supervisory success skills, effective communication, legal aspects of supervision, team building, and change management.
The participants included Michael Anderson, Terry Parson, and James Osgood of Ring Precision; April Borst, Kelly Lundberg, Amanda Johnson, and Kylie Coccagnia of Bush Industries; Matthew Benedetto, Chad Gullotti, and Kevin Perschka of Fancher Chair Company; Quentin Leeper of Classic Brass Inc.; and Peter Jones of Matco Tools.
Representatives from several of the participating companies attended a ceremony to honor the participants.
The Successful Supervision program is underway in Dunkirk and Olean. A second Jamestown cohort begins March 6. Participants are awarded a certificate upon completion of the program.
