SUNY Jamestown Community College students were inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society during ceremonies on April 9 on the Cattaraugus County Campus and April 10 on the Jamestown Campus.
A student must achieve at least a 3.50-grade point average to be considered for the national two-year college honor society.
Forty-eight students were inducted into the Jamestown Campus Alpha Kappa Beta chapter, and 15 into the Cattaraugus County Campus Alpha Psi Omega chapter.
Danelle Turney, a JCC graduate and 2013 Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society All-New York Academic Team recipient, was the guest speaker. The ceremonies were attended by friends and family members of the inductees.
