OLEAN, N.Y. — SUNY Jamestown Community College Workforce Development is hosting a Joining Community Through Coffee event on Wednesday, Nov. 1 from 7:30 - 9 a.m. at the Cattaraugus County Campus Student Union in the College Center building.

Joining Community Through Coffee is an opportunity for Olean area businesses to network, connect, and discuss ways to best support one another.

With support from the Small Business Development Center, JCC has resources to help new businesses launch and small businesses grow. Through some pending grants, JCC hopes to also provide physical space and equipment to Olean area businesses needing assistance.

This event will bring small businesses onto campus and allow JCC to make meaningful connections to the community,” explains Brianna Shay, coordinator of Innovation & Entrepreneurship at JCC. “We want to know the specific needs of businesses so that we have the appropriate resources available for them.”

Joining Community Through Coffee is open to all small business owners and members of the Olean area and surrounding community. There is no cost to attend.

SUNY JCC offers more than 60 programs, small classes and personal support, and affordability with over half of students graduating debt-free. Workforce Development at JCC bridges the needs of employers, the community, and individuals by providing learning opportunities to succeed personally and professionally.
