SUNY Jamestown Community College has received the 90+ cashVest Award for 2025 in recognition of its leadership in public finance liquidity management.

The award is presented through a collaboration between the National Association of Counties and three+one, a national financial technology firm that evaluates cash-management practices in the public sector. The recognition highlights JCC’s commitment to maximizing taxpayer and tuition dollars to deliver strong financial benefits to the communities it serves.

JCC President Daniel DeMarte credited the college’s finance team for their work in achieving the honor. The team includes Kathleen Dennison, interim executive director of administrative services; Karen Fuller-Markham, interim vice president of finance and operations; and Jennifer Beebe, interim assistant director of finance and operations and grants

“Maintaining this level of financial performance takes focus and intentional planning,” DeMarte said. “Our finance team continues to demonstrate exceptional stewardship of public resources, and this award reflects their dedication to doing what’s best for our students and communities.”

Institutions earn the honor by maintaining a cashVest score of 90 or above for four consecutive quarters, a benchmark that reflects effective cash management, improved financial stability, and responsible use of public funds.
