Nine students and a campus club participated in SUNY Jamestown Community College’s Student Showcase on Friday, May 1.
First-place honors went to KC Clark-Porter for “Teaching Moral Courage,” with faculty mentor Sara Luther. James Haick earned second place for “Accessible Trail Proposal,” with faculty mentor Shannon Bessette.

Open to all JCC students, the Student Showcase celebrates academic research and creative activity in collaboration with faculty mentors.
Students were invited to submit a range of projects, including personal narratives such as stories and poetry; research and capstone projects; applied learning experiences like internships and study abroad; and artistic works spanning two-dimensional, three-dimensional, film, and multimedia formats.
