In recognition of National Nurses Week in May, SUNY Jamestown Community College is celebrating alumni of the college’s Nursing program. Magnetic buttons are available for the first 1,000 alumni who contact the JCC Foundation between March 1 and April 15.

“We’re proud of the hard work and dedication to study our Nursing students deliver to graduate and pass the National Council  Licensure Examination,” said Carissa Bentley, development and alumni relations coordinator for the JCC Foundation. “We’re excited to reconnect with alumni nurses and let them know we are just as proud of them today as we were when they graduated.”

Alumni of the JCC Nursing program who would like a button can submit their information to tinyurl.com/axdxrvux. All pins will be mailed out at the end of April.

“We hope that our alumni wear these buttons with pride,” Bentley said. “I like to think of people recognizing others with the button and making connections based on having gotten their start through our Nursing program. It’s such a fun way to really personalize our celebration of National Nurses Week.”
