JCC will hold auditions from 6-9 p.m. November 18-20 for its spring productions, La Cage aux Folles and Pump Boys and Dinettes.
Auditions will be held in Scharmann Theatre.
Todd Wagner will direct La Cage aux Folles. Adam Owens will direct Pump Boys and Dinettes.
La Cage aux Folles tells the story of Georges, the manager of a nightclub featuring drag entertainment, and Albin, his romantic partner and star attraction. They prepare for a visit from Georges’s son, Jean-Michel, who is bringing his fiancee's ultra-conservative parents to meet them.
Pump Boys and Dinettes spotlights L.M., Jackson, Jim, and Eddie, four men who work at a gas station, and two waitresses, sisters Prudie and Rhetta Cupp, who work at the Double Cupp Diner, a dinette located somewhere between Frog Level and Smyrna, NC.
Dance workshops for La Cage aux Folles will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on November 2 and from 9-11 a.m. on November 9 in JCC’s Physical Education Complex.
