JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — Students, faculty, and staff at SUNY Jamestown Community College commemorated Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day by constructing a tile-by-tile mosaic in tribute to Jamestown native and entertainment legend Lucille Ball. JCC students selected Ball in the 2021 Women’s Empowerment Draft, a collaboration across campuses in the State University of New York system. Coordinated by Alfred University's Art Force 5, 32 college students “drafted” historic trail blazers, living legends, and lives lost too soon.
