Students graduating from JCC during the 2018-19 academic year who earned the college’s honors citation were honored at a special ceremony held recently on the Jamestown Campus. Those earning the citation were Chase Smallback of Conewango Valley, Aurora Treacy of Frewsburg, Bryanna Fransen of Gerry, Megan Seeley of Lakewood, Nimish Gounder of New Zealand, Joshua Snyder of Pittsfield, PA; Amanda Little of Sinclairville, Jessica Mack of Youngsville, PA,; and Malcolm Bennik, Delaney Brooks, Cameron Lydell, and Caylee Shelters of Jamestown.

To be awarded JCC’s honors citation, a student is required to successfully complete a globally-focused honors symposium course as well as two project-based honors courses.

JCC President Danel DeMarte and Benjamin Blood, honors program coordinator, presented the students with honors cords and certicates. Marilyn Zagora, vice president of academic affairs, and Nelson Garifi, executive director of academic innovation, shared remarks with the students and their guests.
