JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — SUNY Jamestown Community College is hosting a career fair from noon to 2 p.m. on March 5 in the Student Union on the Jamestown Campus. This event is free and open to the public.

More than 20 employers are expected to attend, including Aspire of Western New York; Blackstone Advanced Technologies; Brooks-TLC Hospital System; Chautauqua Striders; Goodwill of WNY; Metallic Ladder; New York Air National Guard; New York Early Childhood Professional Development Institute; New York State Department of Civil Service; New York State Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation; Penn Highlands Healthcare; The McGuire Group - Absolut Care and Chautauqua Nursing and Rehab; and The Resource Center.

In addition to learning about local employers and seeking employment or internships, attendees can also play fun games, enter raffles, and win prizes.

“Our CareerFest is a fun way for students to explore careers and learn about opportunities that are interesting to them without all the pressure of a traditional career fair,” said Julie Page, JCC Career Services navigator. “This event is also open to community members and the employers we have attending are looking forward to meeting job and intern seekers.”

No RSVP is required. Students are encouraged to register for the event with their Handshake account.
