JCC has announced the hiring of Jordan Basile as its head baseball coach.
Basile comes to JCC with over 25 years of playing and coaching experience at the junior college, Division I, Division II, Division III and professional level.
As a player, Basile is the career record holder for hits and runs scored at the State University of New York at Fredonia. During his coaching tenure at Patrick Henry Community College, Basile’s team was one game away from the College World Series with a 38-16-1 record.
In his two seasons at PHCC, he had a combined win total of 64-32. Additionally, Basile has coached more than 10 players who were selected in the MLB draft with two who have reached the Major Leagues.
Basile has worked with Canisius College, University at Buffalo, University of Dayton, University of Alabama, the Detroit Tigers, Boston Red Sox, Buffalo Bills, and numerous professional athletes at the individual level.
Basile earned a bachelor’s degree in communications and sports administration at SUNY Fredonia and a master’s degree at Lake Erie College. He currently serves as the executive director of the Secrets of Champions Foundation.
